When I see Gobind Singh … …

Two educational flash cards boldly reminded me, one – Tiger of Jelutong and two – My friend’s daughter.

Earlier, I used to get mix-up between the Tiger of Jelutong and The Tiger that lost its roar but not after I have read the book written by Tony Pua.

I also see a familiar person next to him, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, a doctor who is heavenly destined to be seated in the August House twice.

Tun has transformed Malaysia from an agricultural backwater into an industrial powerhouse knowing that English has become the lingua franca globally. But then Tun was dismayed when Datuk Seri Najib Razak reverse his policy, making reading for science and mathematics in Malay, Chinese and Tamil.

My primary through secondary school friend’s daughter is the youngest female lawyer among the lawyers representing Anwar in his trials.

Gobind and Tun enlightening smiles on a huge canvas billboard greet everyone on the streets before they disappear into Jalan Munshi Abdullah or Jalan Laksamana Cheng Ho.

Both of them welcome you to the Sambutan Rumah Terbuka Vaisakhi Peringkat Kebangsaan Bersama Gurdwara dan NGO, Malaysia on 26 May 2019 at Padang Merbok in Kuala Lumpur. The event will run from 5 p.m. to 11.30 p.m.

Instead of imagination arise out of more words as to the history of it, you could check it out in Melaka today. The annual pilgrimage has enriched the heritage of Melaka and is a proof of Melaka communal harmony, a museum-like city of societal love and peace coming together from different religion, castes, creed, sex and different background.

Grandeur is the word I could use to describe what I see at Gurdwara Sahib Melaka today.
