A Hive of Festivity in Melaka over the 3rd weekend of May 2019

Two SUV creep to the right side of the courtyard of a 200 years old taoist temple and several Huaren from Zhangzhou, China alighted from the vehicles, while my friend, Ms Jennifer Poh parked her car next to them.

They came to observe the traditions of beliefs and practices of the Yong Chuan Tian temple from Thursday 16 May 2019 to Sunday 19 May 2019 and to promote cultural exchanges between China and Melaka. Watch Here

Before steering onto Tan Kim Seng bridge, with a gentle thrust, one handsome European was positioning his camera very close with the lush and attractive petals on the bank of Melaka River

The sight of him and his investigative-nature, retrieved Sherlock Holmes from the subconscious mind and put my lips to smile. Unnoticeable of the smile, Danielle and Evelyn indulged in the beauty of Jonker Walk as our car has to sluggish among the ever enjoying Jonker Street, thronged by fans and lovers.

Jonker Walk or Gelanggang Road was a dead street by noon after most of the banking and trading activities were completed in the morning in the past but not now. By Monday, more men and women fill the air-view of a heritage zone resembling a myriapod invertebrate and the fed becomes more and more concentrated as Tuesday replaces Monday.  The gradual influx of visitors becoming more intense through Wednesday, Thursday before the climax of Friday, and Sunday.

To see someone taking a photo on the same spot at school-going age might be a blessing from heaven or some detectives zooming in with a magnifying glass and a camera to collect evidence. A moment seized which may not be the same again for me or you, the next time we are back to that spot. So, we have better capture whatever our hearts tell when we are in Melaka now.

Kee Ann Food Street

A Prosperous and Richly Red banner displayed prominently on the foreground of the Gurdwara Sahib Complex near to the historic and smallest round-about in Melaka, lured me to Kee Ann Food Street after sunset. Watch Here

Possy Missy Flower

Saturday sunrise brought a surprise when I finger-touch my family line-group on the mobile screen to adore a bouquet with imported Columbian flowers picked and selected by Posy Missy Flower.

Columbia is the main producer and exporter of roses worldwide.

Danielle and Sandra are chivalrous to buy the bouquet online simply for their mum's birthday.

Just last weekend, they have treated her to a Mother's Day dining specially served by Ichi Zen Japanese Restaurant. Watch Here

Watch The Cendol on YouTube

The Cendol, the cendol, ... ... ... omg ... oh yes, ... I just wanted to share the above image but prefer to keep quiet because your taste and mine is different. What I can say is the bowl of Cendol is big for the price I pay.

Before the road bottlenecks recurring, a common sights for Melaka, which entails considerable stress to road users, I chose to be half-an-hour earlier to be in Bei Zhan Restaurant (Opposite The Bank Of China) to accept Richard's invitation.

Richard is a childhood friend who has migrated to London after completing his GCE O Level in Malacca High School. Few days ago, he met up with a singer, Yao Su Rong, one the artistes of his circle as Richard is a player in the England's music industry.

A long line of buddhists pay tribute to Siddharta Gautama on the eve of Wesak Day and devotedly walk the middle-path and made a looping of enlightening the old streets of Melaka. Next morning I managed to give alms to the monks. Watch Here
