Drove a Perodua Myvi at a slow speed of 60 km per hour, I arrived at the Eco Do Bem Café at 4.22 pm. After getting a HP 15-da0006TX Laptop from NCS on Jalan Ong Kim Wee, Melaka, I began my journey at 3.49 pm to the café.

I used Google Maps to find this cafe.

I get to know about this café from Facebook, two weeks ago and this is my first visit there.

Eco Do Bem is an ecological theme restaurant located in Bemban where you can dine with fresh fruits and fresh ingredients, all prepared by their dedicated team of chefs and waiters.

They served pork-free western cuisine, and while you are enjoying the yummy dishes, you will get to taste durians pick direct from the orchard.

Though some of the durians are lopsided or crescent shaped, Madam Tai served me five to six fruits of durian of the grade D101. I love the durian she treated me as each bite is easy on the palate, slightly sweet and creamy.

You can see durians hanging on the branches of the trees in the orchard and hear how durians dropped !

Eco Do Bem also provide :

  • Catering Services
  • Dining Hall for groups

[A little history of Bemban]

When Malaysia became independence, Bemban population was 965 in 1957 and thirteen years later in 1970, the count climbed marginally to 1,164. Bemban is located in the Jasin District, a district covering some 170,000 acres. Rubber is an importance income to the local folks and around half of some 100,000 acres are under estate rubber.
Beside rubber, land was also being used for paddy and coconut planting not forgetting the milk collection from cattle farms.

More stories of a small ‘Pekan – Bemban’ … be there !
