At first I find this plate funny but interesting and after a while I asked my wife, Evelyn to use chopsticks to take up portion of this delicious rice into my bowl. Just imagine how much I love it !

Banh Mi is a very common and favorite food in Vietnam similarly to Roti Canai in Malaysia but Banh Mi has a history birth in Vietnam. Banh Mi is a product of the French colonialism in IndoChina and I have tasted two out of the at least six different types of recipes prepare by Saigon Ivy Cafe. After the Fall of Saigon in 1975, the Americans brought the Banh Mi recipes with them back to their country and this fact showed that the taste is great enough to get them introduce this food to the United States.
My brother, Oliver, his wife Emily and their child, Amanda have tried the Banh Mi in Ho Chi Minh City more than once and they encouraged me to enjoy the Banh Mi. My first bite tell me to continue biting and chewing the other portions of two rolls of Banh Mi we ordered on last Monday.
