Touch the breast

A friend was at this place during his 10-days trip to Italy. He took this picture and share with me. He said the locals have this belief ... ' touch the breast and get lucky ... ' When he pointed out that the statue was originally coated black, but the area around her breast has turn bronze-colour as people touches them every day. I zoom in the photo and take a better look, and true enough, the black coat has wear off.

It isn't funny and this is the belief of the locals there. Likewise, if one drink the water of Sam Poh Kong, the locals Melakans has a belief too. The one who drank will return to Sam Poh Kong.
