Together We Support MAHSOPA Annual Dinner 2013

A batch of students are born in the same year but another batch of students are born in another year. The common beauty among these 2 batches is that they are from the same school, Malacca High School.

The only differences between these two batches is their age but whatever their ages may be, they are former pupils of the school.

While one batch make a gathering, another batch also gathers but at different time and day. On gathering day, for old pupils who gathers for the first time, the reunion is the best gift itself. Nevertheless, the old friends who gathers would encourage for another gathering and this same batch of pupils are not likely to join another batch gathering.

From 1826 till 2013, there are 187 batches of old pupils. I guess, on their second gathering, usually the numbers grow. The numbers continue to grow uphill but then the peak is reached and the numbers shrink and shrink. The uphill and downhill numeric phenomena is common and is waiting to happen.

The only strong Fort the old pupils of Malacca High School has is MAHSOPA and our Fort is singular symbol that has withstand all weathers. 

MAHSOPA is founded in 1976. Who is the founder ?

Let us together restore our Fort and preserve our Fort who has shielded all weathers before us, so that our Fort continue to become a heritage to the future of any young man who make his final exit from the gate where his school believed he is ready to unfold himself again after gaining enough knowledge from the education house. He then diverged into roads that differ from his school mates and the journey takes years. Some return to his education house he called home.

Yes ! We called the education house, Home. ..... but will the house welcome us home ?
