Only by two methods. Any other? [Watch & Listen]
One method is by digging the gambut but this method is too
expensive and not practical.
Gambut is peat, accumulation of partially decayed vegetation organic matter unique to natural areas of peatlands. Power from peat is surely more polluting than coal.
Peat does not burst into flames and because of that the burning produces very thick walls of foggy smoke instead of towering fires which can by easily put off.
It is very very difficult or rather hard to control peat fires because the intense heat is under the peat layers below ground level and it really takes an act of nature to extinguish them.
The other method is to wait for the weather system developing
over the Indian Ocean. It’s coming towards Peninsular Malaysia reaching here in
a week or two.
The usual method is cloud seeding, but how much cloud seedings can any government do?
Expect some heavy storms and rain end of September to early
October. Bringing relief to the current hazy dry spell.
But then, flooding might happen and people has to be evacuated.
Yesterday, when I was checking how clothing has dry around 5:15 p.m., my Indian neighbor rushed out to tell me that news on TV has said that Sarawak is on the extreme high AQI of 389. I was shocked.
On September 15, I wrote about How haze can waste money
As I sipped my coffee, the indonesian man next table, told me Jokowi as Widodo is in Riau checking out haze producing areas.
Yesterday, I wrote about Haze and wind. May the winds give mercy for Melaka and Malaysia.
Nadma has advised everyone to stay indoors.
Negligence of his government has caused the transboundary haze, Jokowi Widodo has admitted.
