Oldest Coffee Producer in Melaka You MUST TRY

When I was in Level 3 of the secondary school, Malacca High School, Lam Sing Coffee Manufacturers Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated as a private limited company on 6 November 1975.

Lam Sing Coffee processes coffee seeds to coffee powder, retail and wholesale under the registered Pupil Brand. I can remember of a young boy with a hat carrying a school bag on their packaging.

This oldest coffee manufacturer is located at 46, Jalan Kee Ann, 75100 Melaka today, the very same place I came to know when I followed my mother to the oldest central wet market nearby.

After the central market moved to the present location of Casa del Rio, the premise was left unused but later, a grocery and plastic retailer operate his business there. The premise was left unused again for a long time before the Vedro By The River comes into the scene.

I reckoned the Vedro By The River has beautify a part of the Melaka River but if the plan to operate the water taxi and to achieve the result of dense water commuter is implemented and not just to sit on paper.

As the purring, whirring and rumbling noise of the fishing boats tacking deeper upstream amid the pre-dawn breeze punctuated by the ripples of the river, the coffee aroma filled the atmosphere while I watched my mum selecting her favorite fishes.

As an oldest coffee manufacturer in Melaka, Lam Sing Coffee 南昇咖啡粉有限公司 of course hold an early membership number B050 of the Malacca Chinese Chamber of Commerce And Industry.

On the well-to-do trading row of shops on Kee Ann Road, opposite area is a congested Kampung Jawa with dilapidated shophouses, wooden shacks, sheds and atap structure crammed from the settlement of fishermen on the banks of the Melaka river, Lam Sing Coffee has been processing coffee seeds since.

Genus of evergreen trees and shrubs of the family Rubiaceae, the familiar coffee beans is the flat one on one side of the pulp and the convex on the other side makes of the pulpy fruit resembling a cherry.

Here you see the coffee seeds shared by Kang Chou Keat from Lam Sing Coffee Manufacturers.

My job is to transport viewers to fabulous and fascinating Melaka and take them back to medieval times, from bustling sites over to deserted sites or even into the secrets of Melaka.
With a task like that, tired and overused words like “pretty” and “fun” just won’t cut it. Here, viewers can find the right video to conjure up a three-dimensional scene of places in Melaka and start travelling.
