Lee Wei Cheng visit homes of the Hindu

Madam Lee Wei Cheng or Mrs Khoo Poay Tiong, wife of the Kota Melaka Parliamentarian walked up the stairs of Block A of the Bandar Hilir flats.

It was 3 o'clock 9 minutes in the hot sunny afternoon when I captured this photograph.

Despite the heat of the sun, this Hindu home on the 3rd floor of Block A in Bukit Tempurong received the attention of Madam Lee.

This Hindu home is among several other homes within Bukit Tempurong, Kampung Senjuang, Kampung Banda Kaba and Kampung Limbongan, Madam Lee has visited this afternoon.

Each home received a beautiful festive gift bag which looks like this.

Mrs. Khoo Poay Tiong was accompanied by staff from P138 Community Services, Community Welfare Agency (JKM), Community Management Council (MPKK) and Kesidang Constituency while the lawmaker is debating in the August House on problems of water supply and flash floods.

Anak Melaka berbilang kaum,
Dari Desa sampai ke Kota,
Deepavali sambutan kaum,
Tangan dihulur, bantuan merata.

Dari hulu sampai ke hilir,

Khidmat Raykat tanpa bosan,

Puan Lee bersama pasukan,

Memberi bantuan tanpa balasan.

Menyampaikan sumbangan kepada beberapa keluarga masyarakat India bagi sambutan Deepavali tidak lama lagi.

Sumbangan berupa barangan dapur serta sedikit wang tunai kepada beberapa keluarga di sekitar Kampung Jalan Bukit Senjuang, Rumah Pangsa 3 Bandar Hilir Kampung Kolam Limbungan dan Bandar Kaba.

Serahan sumbangan telah di sampaikan oleh Isteri Ahli Palimen Kota Melaka.
