Corn Starch Cap Bintang by Thye Huat Chan



Hygienically packed by automation, this net weight 400g has soft and fine texture. This corn starch is often used as a thickening agent for gravies, sauces, soups and dishes.

Cap Bintang corn starch is also a favorite choice to mix with other flours to make kuih, cakes, cookies and desserts.

This corn starch is a genetically modified organism free product safe for consumption and it is best to keep in a dry and cool area.

On the pack, there is a recipe to guide us how to use this corn starch.

  1. To thicken soups, sauces, stews and gravies – Mix 15g of corn starch with little water. Stir well.
  2. Add paste into cooked mixture (about 250ml) Stir immediately.
  3. Boil for 1 to 2 minutes under low heat. Stir constantly until thicken.
