Where the Magic begins ... ...

Malacca Toastmasters Club was chartered in January 1989 and we are very proud to be celebrating its 30th Anniversary this year.

Since its inception, the club has seen many of its members blossomed from being a shy, quiet and timid personality into a confident and competent speaker. The club has also helped many of its members to develop their leadership skills. That's "The Magic of Malacca Toastmasters", our theme for our 30th Anniversary when we see the magical transformation of our members throughout their journey with the club.

The passion and dedication of The Magical Toastmasters of Malacca Toastmasters Club, which has enabled the club to remain strong for 30 long years, is indeed an amazing feat.

We are hosting this 30th Anniversary Dinner to celebrate our 30 years in the Toastmasters arena and to gather our club members, both past and current, to come together and along with our brothers and sisters from other Toastmasters clubs in Melaka and other parts of Malaysia and not forgetting our esteemed guests for an evening of enjoyment, entertainment and enriching experience.

We are indeed honoured to have YB Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar Bin Mohd Akin, the Deputy Minister for Primary Industries, to grace our event. We are also privileged that our renowned motivational speaker and trainer Dato' Lawrence Chan who was instrumental in the chartering of MTC in 1989 and who was also with us for our 10th Anniversary Celebration is again graciously with us today to deliver the Keynote address.

A special word of thanks and gratitude to all the hard working and cooperative members of the 30th Anniversary Dinner Organizing Committee and everyone who lent a hand in the planning and organizing of this event.
