Super Cool Myvi and Viva Aircon

Myvi Nippon Denso Cooling Coil

My wife has complained to me that our Myvi car air-conditioning unit is not working since end of last year. She repeatedly mentioned that when she got to queue in a traffic crawl along Jalan Malim or when she waited for the traffic lights to turn green, the air-conditioning airflow is hot air.

The Myvi air-conditioning compressor was replaced with a cost of RM$375.00, the air-conditioning condenser was replaced with a cost of RM$235.00, O-ring and screws cost RM25.00, vacuum cleaning of the system cost RM$20.00, filling of R134A gas cost RM$40.00 and labour cost was RM$55.00.

The above work was done in March 2019 but one week later, the hot air flows again and the service shop refilled the gas again. Next day after the refill, the hot air blows again and the service shop asked to see him again for refill of gas. The refilling goes on in April, May and June. The service shop use more than two hours to correct the problem on June 25 but failed to solve the problem.

On Tuesday, 25 June the problem is finally solved by another aircond service shop and the blowing air is really cool even just immediately after starting the car engine and switching the aircond to work.

The second service shop changed the Cool Gear Evaporator or Cooling Coil manufactured by Denso Corporation, Thailand. The Part Number is TG447610-35103Z and the production date is 7 January 2019.

The next item which the second service shop changed is the compressor and the condenser.

The second service shop clean flushed the system, replaced the compressor oil, refill gas and that's it. One second, he asked his assistant to start the car engine and switch on the aircond, and the next second he asked me, " Has it been 5 minutes ? " I replied, " No, it is just less than a minute "

He asked me to go into the Myvi and feel the blowing air. It is really cool.

Because of satisfaction, my wife asked me to do something to the Viva aircond.

The second service shop changed these,
