It all begins with Filial Piety …

Filial Piety is an important part of the Chinese communities. Parents’ love for their children is a natural order but children’s devotion and obedience to their parents is a life-long learning. The LifeLong Learning has to be guided from a very young age when the child begins to enjoy working hand in hand by helping out to hold his or her own milk bottle. I remember the Malaysian Chinese Assembly or in short the MCA had a good vision when the then president Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Ong Ka Ting introduced the LifeLong Learning. I wonder this vision is still a going-on vision or only lasted an era when the president was in office.

Filial piety is a wholesome love to one’s parents and such act moves God and the Chinese uphold this virtue that has been inherited from the ancient sages in China. Immediately after alighting from your bus or car, filial piety is the first thing that you and your children will see even before buying tickets to enter the city. Filial piety doesn’t make you pay but to emulate to promote the prosperity of your family, and your nation. Though there are about 56 ethnic groups in China, the values of filial piety has brought them together, working to promote the prosperity of the Chinese nation.

To love oneself it to have a balance in life; too much work and no rest is a non-balance life. Too much rest and not working is a non-balance life at the same time.
