The Bukit Gedong Road is fully occupied by participants, a scene unusual on working days.

Two St. John Ambulance vans are on the standby in case first-aid is needed and they offer assistance to a participant on Parameswara Road in front of the CHIJ.
When the sun almost set, the procession begins.
The procession has reached the Poh San Teng Temple in Bukit Cina or The Chinese Hill, a burial ground, the largest outside China.
Beyond the traffic-light and the signboard, is Temenggong Road and its old name is Egerton Road.
The procession reached the intersection of Bendahara Road and Munshi Abdullah Road near to Ramada Plaza Hotel.
