Wesak Day 2017 Celebration in Melaka
Before the sky turns bright, the breaking sound of scattered rain drops is so clear even from my room.
Usually the birds would be chirping.
Whichever may be, the sound of nature is always the nicest moments.
With reference to old belief of certain folklore, the shower of rain is a sign of cleansing the area before a mighty event begin.
Later today, a procession will begin from the Seck Kia Eenh temple and many buddhists are expexted to join the celebration.
Since tomorrow is a public holiday, more crowds would gather by the roadsides to watch the celebration and to show respect to the Buddha.
Buddhists are taking vegetarian food and they dressed themselves in white while buddhist temples are serving free vegetarian food to anyone who visit their temples.
