A combination of neatness and comfort, Hotel Arissa offer you a nice experience if you are looking for a strategically located accommodation when visiting Melaka, to meet someone, to enjoy food in your famous restaurants, to attend wedding or other functions, to shop, and touring historical sites.

Hotel Arissa is a modern concept hotel on Jalan Pelanduk Putih without street congestion and with ample parking spaces. Leisure and business travelers can enjoy a marvelous stay right from the friendly guest service front desk to the room services at a reasonable price.

Melaka is known for her unique cuisines cooked since the era of the ancient kingdom where once 84 languages were spoken when trades flourished as the traders from the east and west met in the heritage city declared by UNESCO.

From Portuguese dishes to Peranakan dishes, food hunter could enjoy Malay, Chinese, Indian and many local street foods on Jonker Walk.

The queue is not dotted if you take a 2 minutes walk from Hotel Arissa to Ban Lee Siang Satay Celup on Jalan Ong Kim Wee. Popiah Shop on the same row as the satay celup outlet is another famous food where Singaporean travel to to pick the rolls with chopstick sipping black coffee in between each bite.

Oh yes, I just recall the famous Bukit Cina soya bean shop which is about 3 minutes driving time away form Hotel Arissa; drink it in the afternoon to check the taste discovered by a man from China. In the evening, you’ve got to try a piece or two the popular Putu Piring Tengkera after watching three pairs of synchronizing hands cupping and uncapping the steamed Gula Melaka stuffed inside excellent mixture of grated coconut and rice flour.

Before the sunset, a 5 minutes walk will take you to the delicious pineapple-gravy grilled hainanese satay at Hai Heng Coffee Shop. Another 2 minutes from Hai Heng, the Taiwanese owner have been putting bowls and bowls of yummy crispy meat noodles on tables for decades and  for sure your bowl would be a delightful lunch choice.

If you like mutton soup, there is one just after a left turn with the Public Bank on the right corner and the talk of the town Oriental Hee Kiaw noodle is just on the opposite the mutton soup shop. The list of food eateries goes on … (but for you to decide which to try first)

In between meals, I am sure you would like to see some heritage sites, starting with Kampung Chetti, a 2 minutes walk to the left of the hotel foyer. Check out the dates of a free guided Chetti Village Heritage Walk presented by the Melaka Museum Corporation.

As the walk complete by 7 pm, you will be advised to join another not-to-miss walk in Kampung Morten.

If you are a Buddhist, Seck Kia Eenh is just a stone throw from your hotel, and you would adore the beautiful middle-path teaching of Buddhism there.

Slightly just beyond one kilometer radius from where you stay, are many heritages sites and buildings waiting for you to take your beautiful selfie and unbox Melaka past stories.

Rest and relax at some of the famous café, restaurants and lounges within Jonker Walk, the Dutch Square and Melaka Raya after your historical sites discovery. Probably your next choice, would be a shopping spree at the nearby branded outlets.

Long after enjoying the darkness of the night which makes Melaka more colorful, reached out to a refreshing bath in your hotel using the fragrant shower foam, make a cup of Lipton tea in your room and pamper yourself with the comfortable beds.
