Rules & Regulations

1 The Competition is open to all photographers. Registration is required. No registration fee is payable.

3 Upon successful registration, the participant will be issued with a “Participant Tag” Photographers who do not wear the “Participant Tag” will not be allowed into the temple compound. The closing date for registration is 10^th February 2017.

4 Participants are requested not to post their intended entries on the social media (Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp, WeChat, etc) on or before the judging date.

5 “Aeiral Drone” photography is strictly prohibited.

6 All prints must be of sizes “8RW” or 8” x 12”. No mounting is required. Prints must not contain any names, watermarks or logos.

7 Digital image manipulations which alter/change or misrepresent the true situation are strictly prohibited. Enhancement of a photo shall be confined to color saturation, contrast, brightness and cropping.

8 Images in JPEG format and sizes not smaller than 5MB must be submitted on a CD which is non-returnable. Images on CD must not bear any names, watermarks or logos. The CD is to be submitted together with the entries.

9 All entries shall remain the property of the organizer who reserves the right to reproduce, publish, or exhibit them for advertising or promotional purposes without notification and payment to the participant.

10 The organizer shall not be held responsible for entries damaged of lost through the post. Proof of posting is not proof of receiving.

11 The decision of the Judges is final and any dispute or appeal will not be entertained.

12 In the event of any dispute on the interpretation of these Rules, the organizer’s decision on this matter will be final and conclusive.
