An original poem is created for her.
My friend Chris Ng wrote the poem for me as a gift for an old college mate who discover the wonder of flowers. We were together in Tunku Abdul College once upon a time.
Poem [Will be posted here soon. Make sure you get updates of more beautiful flowers when you subscribe via email]
Here comes the poem,
If you look
closely,
there is
always a flower looking back at you
you may not
know its name or how it’s there
but there
is
a tiny dot
of blue, red, yellow
all colors
of the rainbow
sometime
bright, sometimes pale
soft,
pliant
alive,
vibrant.
head high
and tall
greeting
the sun
its time
short and
sweet
its
momentariness
making a
mark in a dark landscape
of
brokenness
of coldness
concrete
announcing
its delicate self
if you look
closely
there is
always a flower looking back at you
