I first visited the Melaka Zoo in the 1960s when I was a primary school-going child. It was a school trip to further our knowledge about the animals kingdom.
Later, on the next trip, it was a group cycling trip with some close-friends, one among them is now in Melbourne, Australia. Then, there was no toll-gate. The road ended there.
