United States Ambassador to Malaysia Joseph Yun made a stopover in Melaka Public Library when he led a cyclethon from Melaka to Singapore on Monday 1 June 2015.

Apart from other schools involving 50 pupils, a few students from the Yok Bin Secondary School also attended the Green Tech Day.

Present with the US Ambasdador were Legislative Assembly Speaker, Datuk Othman Muhamad, State Secretary, Datuk Naim Abu Bakar, Perpustam Chairman, Datuk Amirudin Yusof and Perpustam Director, Mohamed Aizammuddy Mohamed.

During the span of 22 years, Lincoln Research Center has provided good knowledge to the people of Melaka concerning the preservation of the environment.

Yun praised Datuk Seri Ir. Idris Haron for what he had done in Melaka to raise environmental awareness.
