Delegates from some 150 countries will meet in Cologne, Germany to gain knowledge for a greener environment.

The creation of green environment that would fulfil the human needs and aspirations is a major task before Datuk Seri Ir. Idris Haron.

Datuk Seri Ir. Idris Haron is the first Chief Minister of Melaka who is devoted to construct an environment good for everyone.

All the former ministers had transformed the 10,000 years old agriculture activities into industrialization and infrastructure development.

Datuk Seri Ir. Idris Haron who is an engineer sees beyond the physical and tangibles; he sees a world’s vision. A greener world.

A world, the heritage and the history is conserved, enjoyed, learned and preserved. A world the habitat is conserved, enjoyed, learned and preserved.

Datuk Seri Ir. Idris Haron has zoned certain parts of Melaka as “Smoke-Free Zones”.

Everyone speaks of environmental satisfaction but it is not possible to describe its nature and content of the air today and yesterday precisely. If a circular scoreboard is planted within the smoke-free zone to show the carbon dioxide level, the public is able to see the results. The result will be the daily food for thought to get people jump into a faster action for a greener environment.
