Kaohsiung's Xiziwan is known for the gorgeous sunsets and natural reefs, and is one of Kaohsiung's eight best scenic spots.

As the sun begins to set, the soft lights reflecting on the rippling water give a sense of comfort and harmony.

Strolling hand in hand with a lover, no words are needed to feel the other's love and warmth.

With the number of ports in Kaohsiung, it's easy to catch sight of the ships going into the port while strolling along Xiziwan.

The two sights contrast very nicely. Kaohsiung Country's Fort Battery is equipped with observation decks.

There, lovers can go onto the decks to take in the beauty of the sunset and magnificent view of the ships.

The nearby "Takao British Consulate" is Taiwan's first Western-style building, and provides delectable light snacks and refreshing afternoon tea.

One can also head to Xiziwan Beach for a swim or in just splash about.
