The silence is over

On Mobile
After the British left Malaya before Independence, Melaka started to lose her charms. The world gradually forget about her. The Queen visited Melaka a decade or so after 1957 when the ruling party was dominated by UMNO, MCA and MIC.

As the day passes, Melaka suffered in trade and was far backwards in comparison to her glory days when she was a transit between the west and the east. Melaka suffered a lot not because of the interests of the colonizers but because of the historic departures of great navigators.

But then, as she begins to regain her charms, her heritage is fast becoming a favorite reason for travelers.

Napoleon once said, "The world suffers a lot not because of the violence but because of the silence."
