England | York Minster
York Minster is the dignified and massive church of St. Peter.
Famous for its extensive and representative series of stained glass windows, the minster includes examples of the early English Decorated. Some of the stained glass have aged since the 12th century. Since the 4th century, a verifiable Christian presence is available to York.
This is the Minster's west front.
The early and the late Perpendicular styles are noted on the Minster.
On both sides of the west facade rest two richly decorated towers measuring 67 meters in height and in the north-west tower hangs the bell, Great Peter.
