Different Mother's Day But In Melaka It's On The 2nd Sunday Of May

The Indonesian celebrate Mother's Day on December 22 which is made an official holiday President Soekarno. In Singapore, Mother's Day is celebrated on the 2nd Sunday of May and this date apply to Malaysians too.

Many ideas are flying around and everyone in the working places are caught with the Mother's Day fever. It is not too late to make Mother's day plan. Though everyone know about Mother's Day and many know that Anna Jarvis created this day, many still unaware of the history.

Some like to shower love to mothers with bouquet of flowers and often roses goes well if you go for a selection with your favorite florist. I would prefer Alice Florist to get bouquet delivered in Melaka while for other events in other States of the Peninsular, I would rely on my friends who lived there.

Some may like to present mothers with perfumes, skin care and cosmetics or even a holiday trip. Others would find that spending quality time at home is best and they would cook a Sunday brunch for their mothers.

My son give a surprise to his mother today. It cost him a little thought and a 60 cents stamp. The postmen slipped an envelope into the letter-box this morning and it was addressed as "Madam". She picked it up from the letter-box after alighted from her Perodua Viva.

He wrote, " Mum, ... for everything we are today, it's your love that showed the way ! You know about our favorite food, vitamins, and supplements. Anything that is good. You are a super mum for me. You tidy my room. Get out the broom, cook my meals, does my laundry, ever so willing, gentle yet so strong !

You've pick me up when I'm down, when I need a friend,, you'll stick around me.

Thank you mum.

You really did your job as a mum and you sacrifice lot just for us.

I love you my wonderful mum.

You're beautiful, precious and few.
