Pinko, with its innovative and youthful designs, has been a long-standing feature on Milan's fashion scene and its new boutique on Via Montenapoleone fuses clothing design and art. Artist, Steven Scott, who is known for his focus on light, was commissioned to make a new artwork for the store: the result is Oculus! An impressive large circular piece installed into the ceiling, which changes colour.
The store retains elements of the original 19th-century interior including oak flooring, and a softly decorated private room leads to a small internal garden, providing a welcome surprise on this celebrated street.
