Dato Abd Halim Bin Ali cherished the frienship the association has fostered him and believed that MAHSOPA has opened up avenues for rekindling old ties as well as forming new ones.  Dato shared a wise thought with his everyone with, " The best of people are those that bring most benefit to the rest of mankind. " Dato is the Chairman Board of Governors of Malacca High School.

Sampan kolek mudik ke tanjung,

Budi yang baik rasa nak junjung.

A 1973 Head Boy or School Captain, Dato' Capt. Abdul Rahim Abd Aziz is noted to share table with Robert Lim Fung Wang, his fellow prefects team member, and Dato also vividly remember cycling to See Tiat's, Fung Wang's, Baskaran's, Boon Kuay's and Micheal Long's houses amongst others, to revise their lessons. See Tiat is appointed to the Monetary Authority of Singapore recently. In Dato's 59-years experience, he discovered that for some quintessential reason, the years spent between the hallowed walls of MHS had a ubiquitous effect of bringing ex-students of MHS together whenever they meet, in whatever function it may be, regardless of societal standing.

Dato Capt. Abdul Rahim Abd Aziz is also mindful that not all old boys of MHS have attained excellence/success in their lives. His nobleness encourages the rest of MHS brothers the joy of coming together and seek ways to alleviate the hardships and maladies of the less privileged.

The waiter shared the Steamed Seabass Fish onto our plates.
