Welcome to Melaka : H.E. Irina Bokova

H.E Irina Bokova, the Director-General of the United Nations on Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization selected Melaka as one of her favorite destinations while on a three days visit to Malaysia. Earlier she met Najib Razak three days ago.





A dinner was hosted for her at the Casa del Rio with the presence of the Governor, Tun Mohd Khalil Yaakob and the Chief Minister Datuk Wira Ir Idris Haron.


She and her entourage cruise the Melaka River and would be visiting several historic sites.


Irina Bokova is scheduled to attend the 2nd World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue in Baku from May 29 to June 1.
