Work of art at Taman Seribu Bunga

Perfect hexagons of wax fit together like bathroom tiles to form tiers of cells where the eggs are placed and the honey stored. The wax comes from the glands between the segments of the under side of the abdomen of the workers. The workers collects food and builds the comb. The Queen lays the eggs for the colony while the Drone fertilizes the eggs.
