Najib can win PRU-13
PRU-13 top
the list in coffee talks. The common question is When is the PRU-13 ?
Earlier in
the year, the heat was intense about the election. Common answers was June.
Then July. Then August. Soon the common answers become “Don’t know.” Words of
reaction to the answers are again as common as “Fear of losing” The supporters
of the Oppositions would reason on why isn’t the Parlimen dibubarkan if the Barisan Nasional is confident.
Gradually, the heat is losing steam as the rakyat is beginning to give more
support to the Barisan. Najib isn’t fear of losing to the Pakatan Rakyat
neither is he fear of losing Putrajaya control but instead the Barisan is
preparing for a big win to garner ⅔ Parliamentary seats. More than 12,000,000 would cast their votes in the coming
PRU-13 and ⅔ win represent some 8,000,000 voters backing up the new
government.
The Barisan’s
experiences in managing the country is reckoned with 55 years of independence.
With 1Malaysia, the Najib Administration is the first to pay money allowances
to the rakyat. Giving the rakyat money was never done before
1Malaysia. Before 1Malaysia, giant projects became the headlines and they are
for example, the Economic Corridors
during Badawi Administration, the World-Class Physical Infrastructure during
the Mahathir Administration, the National Unity during the Hussein
Administration, the New Economic Policy during the Razak Administration and the
Pride of Nationhood during the Rahman Administration. Caring for the rakyat
is taking place now. Janji Ditepati
is not sloganed but is a delivery of promise of People First, Performance Now or Rakyat Didahulukan, Percapaian
diutamakan. The moment Janji Ditepati
started the rakyat enjoyed the Bantuan Rakyat 1Malaysia, and many others.
Those good things would be repeated soon as unveiled by Datuk Seri Najib Tun
Razak in his Budget 2013 speech recently. When Najib and his deputy Tan Sri
Muhyiddin Yassin posed for a photograph after presenting the Budget in
parliament, they said, “For the people” to questions raised by reporters.
Come PRU-13,
Malaysian voters have to decide whether they deserved an experienced or an
inexperienced government. GE will be a very tight race.
