Test for Son-in-law

There was a rich family. Both the husband and wife were far above 50. Life after 50 taught them this. Focus on enjoying people and not on accumulating more materials wealth and money. They knew they cannot touch the same water twice. The husband’s second wife is 30 years junior to him. The first wife knew how to enjoy spending money while she could. But she wanted to make sure she spend the money wisely. So, she thought of a plan. She worked on the plan.

She invited her 1^st son-in-law for a walk along a river and while walking she fell into the water and pretended to be drowning. Anxiously, her son-in-law dived into the water and saved her. The next day,  the son-in-law saw a new 2.0 SUV car in his driveway with a message pinned to the windscreed by the wiper. It read, “Thanks, Son-in-Law, from Mum-in-Law”

She repeated the walk with her 2^nd son-in-law who also saved her. She gave the same car for him.

Unfortunately, her 3^rd son-in-law did not lift a finger to save her when she repeated the same walk with him. She was drowned. The next day, this son-in-law saw a new 3.0 SUV car in his driveway too. The message for him is pinned the same way as for the 1^st and 2^nd son-in-law. It read, “Thanks. Son-in-Law. From Father-in-Law”
