Panda
About the size of a large cat, the panda is a beautiful animal.
Its food is chiefly vegetable, bamboo shoots, leaves and various fruits.
The giant panda has a creamy white body with black ears, black spots over the eyes, a black hand extending over the shoulders, black feet and legs and dark under parts.
Since bamboo appears to be its only food, giant panda make its home in the mountains of western China which is covered with bamboo. Panda feed on the leaves and stalks during fall and winter while in spring and summer, tender shoots are taken.
About 76 years ago, not many people know about panda. It is recently that people want to take a close look at panda.
