Java became Zheng He's 2nd stop
Java became the Treasure Ship second stop after 3 weeks.
Zheng He had mediated and helped to unite the eastern and the western states of
Java. The states were at war. He had
made the king of the West Java to repent to unite with East Java.
The king of West Jave was greatful and preseved good
relations with the Ming Dynasty.
Native empires had existed before the 16th
century when Portuguese traders first arrived but soon outsted by the Dutch and the English.
Though in prehistoric times, the eastern islands of Indonesia wer probably
joined with Australia and the western islands were probably in one piece with
Asia, Java is one of the six main islands. The others being, Sumatra,
Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and excetera.
Majority of the population live in Java and there are some
30 different languages with some 250 dialects used in Indonesia.
