Human toil for the purposes of production and services. As industrialism spread and intensified, labour came to be recognised as a special problem. Labour is a noted as one of the three basic elements of production. The other two being land and capital. Today's labour became innovative and today, it is materials, machines, methods and men that are going to make things consistently competitive.
