Roaring Lions
The image on the left is a Lion Dance Troupe and their members have trained enough to cheer up the Year of the Dragon.
Lion is the largest member of the Cat Family. Lions are roaming in parts of Africa and parts of the south-west Asia. Sporting a tawny yellow hair, a black tail and a brown or black mane, a lion may measure up to 3 metre from the nose to the tip of the tail with a possible weight of 226 kg.
The roaring of the lions begins at dusk, and is often continued at intervals throughout the night, and its roars is a sign of nature when you find that the roars are answered by other lions in the neighbourhood.
The lion, is the king of the beast and today they lives in Asia and Africa. During the Chinese New Year, many "lions" go roaring for 15 days worldwide.
