Long, Long, ... Long, Long, ... Long

The Chinese know that there are 5 (fives) types of dragons and they are:-

• the dragons that guard the gods and the emperors.
• the dragons that control the wind and the rain.
• the dragons that deepened the rivers and the seas.
• the dragons that guard the hidden treasure.
• the first dragon.

The water-dragon would be on duty from 23 January 2012 to 9 February 2013. The Chinese dragon is said to bestow wealth and wisdom as gifts. Dragon in Chinese character is 龍 and is sound as 'Long'. Thus Long, Long, ... Long, Long, ... Long represent the five dragons.

A replica of the Chinese Dragon is taking shape in Malacca and it is going to be a long dragon.
