Noi Bai Airport is your first step if you have never been in Hanoi. The bridge in red as shown in the above image is the bridge linking to the Ngoc Son Temple on Ho Kiem Lake.

It is bustling. Hotel pick-ups at airport, taxi rushing to get passengers, cars and motorcycles rushing chaotically in their busy streets are common sites. Whatever it may be, you have go to let yourself be swept away by the beauty of this quaint city, Hanoi.

The locals are friendly and helpful and you would be able to get to your destination with their help. There are many museums and art galleries around Hanoi city. At the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the body of the late Ho Chih Minh lies in a glass viewing box guarded by uniformed guards. Just next to this Mausoleum, you can catch a glimpse of how Ho Chih Minh had lived throughout his presidency till his death.

Besides the Perfume Pagoda that draws millions of people, Ha Long Bay is a beauty and is the UNESCO Heritage Site. Most of the cruise boats there have a deck where you can have an unbostructed view of the natural scenery and enjoying the fresh breeze while sailing. So prepare your cameras and snap away !

There are plenty of streets foods and one thing not to forget is to try the Vietnamese coffee which is perfect for the wake up kick !

Hanoi is captivating. Enjoy your stay.
