Not the largest, but the second largest country in Asia, is China.
In the earlier times, China stood still, and kept to herself.
Chinese life was based on a family system and reverence for parents and ancestors was the first duty of all Chinese. A succession of dynasties had ruled over China for three thousand years. The Great Wall of China runs more than 1,500 miles across the northern border, through mountains and valleys.
China's last "boy emperor" of the Manchu dynasty, Pu Yi was lifted from obscurity and placed on the new throne as Emperor Kang Teh.
Great China is very much different from her past when she host the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, 100 years after the demised of Dowager Empress Tzu Hsi in 1908.
