Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad - A family man
His father is a strong believer of learning and knowledge. His father became a teacher and taught Tunku Abdul Rahman. His father quest to educate, to share knowledge and his perfect discipline, soon became the talk of homes.
The former Governor of Melaka who served the State from 1984 to 2004 was among children of other parents who learned family values from him. The Governor was the late Tun Syed Ahmad Shahabuddin.
Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad's father taught students in English Language and was a good mathematics teacher too.
Beside learning, Tun liked the fun kids his time like. Tun observed and remember well. Tun is a thoughtful man when people of the past century within his neighbourhood still stay fresh in his mind.
Tun has earned good etiquette not only from his father but also from his mother, Wan Tempawan. Tun learned values from his parent and upheld throughout his life.
