Indonesia is a big place.
Zheng He explored Sumatra after
Java. He came to know that Java was threatening Sumatra. He reported to the
Emperor Chengzu who later got Zheng He to award the Chinese royal seal to the
crown the chieftain.
The chieftain felt honoured and aborted his desire to
invade Sumatra.
Comfortable with the peace of Java and Sumatra, the Treasure
Ship sailed westward to the capital of Aceh. Expensive yarns, coins and silk
cloth was handed to the king of Aceh.
Indonesia made closed ties with China a long time ago.
