A brief history of the establishment of the Malaysian Youth Museum

The history of youth movements in Malaysia has been traced back to the end of the 19th century. It was felt that society in general and youths in particular had not know enough of the progress and the milestones of the youth movements.

The Malaysian Youth Council is aware of the lack of knowing by the society at large and the youth in particular.

The council decided that a Malaysian Youth Museum be established to remind how the youth can directly or indirectly play a role in the country socio-economic development at the state and national levels.

The existence of a Youth Museum in Malaysia is in line with the efforts by the Malaysian Youth Council to promote the formation of a dynamic and progressive younger generation by the year 2000.
How many young Malaysians today know the youth before 1950 did in the field of writing, thinking, education and politics ?

How youth was trained 5 decades ago ?

Have you personally see the cement block bearing the footprints cast of Lord Baden Powell ?
