Aborigine is cooking (Masakan Orang Asli Melaka)

Two girls were cleaning huge tapioca roots when I crossed over to the next booth. Many communities come together to share their original recipes on the Kota Esplanade yesterday and today.

The Heritage Cuisines Fest 2016 is pleasing some 25,000 food-lovers for two days; Saturday 17 and Sunday 18, September 2016.

(Lihat gambar)

I am happy to get a chance to ask these aborigine from Simpat Ampat, Melaka about the cookings.

Their home decorative items are made of dried flowers, leaves and stems.

Turning dried leaves into beautiful shades by weaving, the aborigine is not only creative but they are friendly too.

Sambal Tumis Bunga Kantan senang dibeli tetapi merasai keenakan asli masakan warisan Orang Asli Simpang Ampat bukan banyak peluang. Hanya setahun sekali dapatlah di Pesta Masakan Warisan Melaka.

To buy Fiery Hot Sambal is easy but to taste the original aborigine method of cooking is only available for 2 days. So, next festival, don't forget to bring your spouse and children there. Mark your 2017 calendar.

To you, what is my first impression ?

I thought these are fishballs. So fine. So smooth. But I am wrong. These are tapioca balls.

Engkau ingat apa saya fikir bila ternampak berbola ini ?

Saya kata kepada pemasak, itu berbola ikan. Mereka terangkan kepada saya, itu berbola ubi.

The aborigines posed for my blog.

They hope you can visit them during the same festival in 2017.
