Dumplings Meet TARC4

Klang
Saturday 20 June 2015

When they decided that the next location after the Sterling Reunion, is Klang; they didn't aware that the date picked is 端午节 Duan Wu Jie . As for food, they can't think of anything else except Bak Kut Teh, a name sticky for Klang.

In ancient China, the Yue people celebrated this day to a favorable weather and a bumper crop. They wrapped glutinous rice, mushroom, Bak or pork, chestnuts, etc in bamboo leaves, and paddled in canoes to visit friends.

Auspiciously, the element of Bak in ancient Chinese history and Klang's best food coincide. It is an auspicious beginning, an auspicious pre-gathering to the fullness of the 27th reunion.

Though it is the second time they preserved the wealth of friendship after three decades diversified journeys each took, they are still soft and supple.

Because of flexibility and yielding, the two meets cater timely for; a lady from an offshore financial island, and a vacationer. Flexibility yield suppleness and the beginning wonder.

Both dates are merrymaking, not only because the values of friendship is held, but is timely to treasure the joy of the children's graduations.
