Christmas Shopping in Europe

From shopping to staying up for the nightlife and from champagne to culture, you can explore many European cities easily by train as there are plenty high-speed links. All you have to do, is to fly into London.

Shop for Christmas @ Lille. Making the streets beautiful, are houses of the 18th and 19th century and while exploring such beauty, leave your food worries to good pastries like Phillippe Olivier or the Meert tearoom on the Rue Esquermoise.

Louis Vuitton, Lacoste and Hermes have got their homes of designer boutiques in Rue de la Grande Chaussee. Make sure you are there at least once.

All you want for Christmas is ridiculously easy to get in this city in northern France, Lille.

Staying Alive @ Antwerp. Dusk fall each evening shall kick you to great nightlife scene in this Belgian city, Antwerp. Before you thirst for your night shopping for the city's merchandise of the most famous fashion graduates like Dries van Noten and other designer stores within the Mear area, you may prefer to have a sip at Het Elfde Gebod at Torf Burg 10. Then, supper at Dock's Cafe. What a night.

Champagne for you @ Rheims. Millions of bottles of vintage Krug, Veuve Clicquot and Taittinger are stored in the caves and tunnels of the Roman fashion beneath the French city streets of Rheims. Dare to get some bottles of these fabulous champagne and pamper yourself while shopping for Christmas. Admist you celebrated shopping spree, break away for a little time at the outskirts of the town that are dotted with elegant estates owned by the champagne houses. Savour the the huge range of coupes de champagne and take a tour of their caves.

Culture discovery @ Amsterdam. Amsterdam, the Dutch capital is one of Europe's best cultural hubs. Van Gogh Museum, everyone heard. The rest is up to you to discover. Have fun.
